What is the video show “LOST IN HOMELAND”?

“LOST IN HOMELAND” เป็นชื่อของการแสดงวีดีโอของ คุณไรอัน แอนเดอร์สัน (จาก OXLAEY Media)

ซึ่งเป็นการจัดทำการเผยแพร่ภาพยนต์หนังสั้นทั้งหมด 10 เรื่อง และบอกเล่าเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับเมืองเก่าสงขลาผ่านทางวีดีโอโชว์ เรื่อง อะไรคือความพิเศษของสงขลา : คน

ภาพยนตร์หนังสั้นใช้เวลาแสดงรวมประมาณ 60 นาที วิดีโอทั้งหมดนี้ถ่ายทำในไทย

โดยไรอัน แอนเดอร์สัน บอกเล่าผ่านเรื่องราวทั้งภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษโดยมีคำบรรยายเป็นภาษาไทย

ในช่วงปี 2017 นี้ จะมีการฉายภาพยนต์ทัวร์ ร่วมกันกับเจ้าภาพในพื้นที่ต่างๆ โดยเราจะนำเสนอหนังสั้น

แสดงให้ผู้ชมในห้องฉายภาพยนตร์ขนาดเล็กให้กับผู้ชมในคาเฟ่ต่างๆ จากจังหวัดสตูลไปยังจังหวัดน่าน ไป

มาเลเซียและสิงคโปร์

“LOST IN HOMELAND” is the title of a live show. Ryan Anderson (from OXLAEY Media) shows 10 videos and tells stories about Songkhla’s old town. Together, the videos show what makes Songkhla special: the PEOPLE.

The show is 60 minutes in total. All the videos are in Thai or have subtitles in Thai. Ryan Anderson speaks Thai and English with subtitles in Thai. The show is free. You can watch a trailer here: https://vimeo.com/194923977

During 2017 the show will go on tour. Together with local hosts, we will present the show to large audiences in theaters to small audiences in cafes, from Satun and Nan to Malaysia and Singapore.

ไรอัน แอนเดอร์สัน จัดแสดงวีดีโอโชว์ฟรี หากคุณสนใจเพียงแต่คุณติดต่อเสนอสถานที่ เมืองที่ต้องการให้ไปจัดฉายแสดงวีดีโอ และอำนวยความสะดวกเตรียมสถานที่สำหรับการพักค้างคืน พร้อมอาหาร โดยที่ห้องพักไม่จำเป็นต้องเป็นหรูหรา อาจจะเป็นที่วัดหรือห้องพักที่โรงแรมก็ได้

Yes! We do all the video shows for free. You only need to organize a room, a video projector, a white wall, a sound system and a power extension cord. Ryan Anderson brings his computer (mac). The projector should have a HDMI port and the sound system a 1/8th port (like for headphones).

Ryan Anderson does the show for free, however he does have costs to travel to your town and stay overnight. If you want to do a show, we ask that you please find him a place to stay for one night and take him out for meals. The room doesn’t have to be fancy. It can be a floor at a Wat or a room at a hotel.

ไรอัน แอนเดอร์สันเป็นลูกครึ่ง เยอรมัน-อเมริกัน เป็นผู้สร้างหนังบอกเล่าเรื่องราวต่างๆ

ในปี 2016 เขาเริ่มต้น โครงการ “OXLAEY MEDIA” และ ทำงานโดยไม่แสวงหาผลกำไร

สำหรับผลงานหนังสั้นของเขาได้แสดงในงานเทศกาลต่างๆ

เช่น New York Film Week, Blackbird, Equity, and Avant Edge

เขาเคยได้ร่วมงานกับ Vanity Fair (Germany) , Elite Daily (USA), HKFP (Hong Kong) และสื่ออื่น ๆ

ในปี 2015 ไรอันเป็นศิลปินและพักอาศัยอยู่ในเมืองมรดกโลก (ยูเนสโก) จอร์จทาวน์, มาเลเซีย, โดยได้รับการสนับสนุนแหล่งทุนจากองค์กร Think City ปัจจุบันเขาเป็นศิลปินและอาศัยอยู่ในสงขลา ประเทศไทย โดยได้รับการสนับสนุนจาก ภาคีคนรักเมืองสงขลา

Ryan Anderson is a German-American filmmaker and storyteller. He started and leads the not-for-profit OXLAEY Media project. In 2016, his short films were shown at festivals such as New York Film Week, Blackbird, Equity, and Avant Edge. He has worked together with Vanity Fair (Germany), Elite Daily (USA), HKFP (Hong Kong) and other media companies. In 2015, Ryan was Artist-in-Residence in the UNESCO city of George Town, Malaysia, sponsored by a grant from Think City. Currently, he is Artist-in-Residence in Thailand with the Songkhla Heritage Trust.

What is OXLAEY Media?

OXLAEY MEDIA (www.oxlaey.com) คือ โครงการสื่อที่ไม่แสวงหาผลกำไร นำโดยไรอัน แอนเดอร์สัน

เป้าหมายของโครงการคือการสร้างวิดีโอหนังสั้น, รูปภาพ, และการบันทึกเสียง

ที่ส่งเสริมมรดกทางวัฒนธรรม โดยที่ทุกวิดีโอจัดทำฟรีโดยกลุ่มอาสาสมัครท้องถิ่น

และมีการเผยแพร่ประชาสัมพันธ์มัลติมีเดียบนอินเทอร์เน็ต โดย “Creative Commons” ลิขสิทธิ์

ซึ่งหมายความว่า ทุกคนสามารดูวีดีโอ ดาวน์โหลดหรือใช้วิดีโอได้ฟรี

โดยที่ค่าใช้จ่ายทั้งหมดจะได้รับมาจากการบริจาค หรือการอำนวยความสะดวกทางด้านห้องพักและอาหาร ขณะที่ยังมีอาสาสมัครคนอื่นๆ แปลวิดีโอเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ, ออกแบบกราฟิก, สร้างงานศิลปะ, แต่งเพลง และยังมีอาสาสมัครในรูปแบบอื่น ๆอีกด้วย

OXLAEY Media (www.oxlaey.com) is a not-for-profit multimedia project. Ryan Anderson leads the project. The goal of the project is to create short videos, pictures, and sound recordings to promote cultural heritage. Every video is made for free by a group of local volunteers.

All the multimedia is published on the internet with a “Creative Commons” copyright. This means that anyone can watch, download or use the videos for free.

All the costs are paid for by donations. Some people provide a free room. Other people cook food. Some volunteers translate the videos into English. Other volunteers design graphics, create art, compose music, etc.

OXLAEY Media proves that by working together, we can create great art, promoting our cultural heritage.
