STITCH • a Street tailor in Bangalore
This young gentlemen fixes ripped backpacks, torn jeans and damaged shirts. Everyday he carts his sewing machine outside and gets started. His father and grandfather are also tailors.
Grandfather has a shop across the street at the end of a neon-lit passageway. In front of a small mountain of old backpacks, lost luggage and other sewable goods, he takes the neighborhoods damaged digs and patches them up (almost as good as new).
Grandfather was kind enough to sew me a new bicycle bag, as mine had unfortunately seen better days.
