Sing, Sing, Sing!
Back in Texas… December 2013
I played cheerleader and nurse to my mom. Thankfully, her pelvis was only cracked and not fully broken. It didn’t take too many days before she was back on her feet. I cheerfully annoyed her every morning, taking her on a walk down the driveway with the walker. Exercising those muscles.I’d like to think that my excessive cheerfulness was one reason she made a quick recovery. The sooner she was back to 101%, the sooner I’d leave her in peace (smile). Soon she even went back to her job, as accompanist at my old high school, A&M Consolidated.
Mr. Angel, my old choir director, was still there, teaching do, re and mi. The video above is a clip I made in January 2014. In 2015, Mr. Angel, announced his retirement.
Dear Mr. Angel: Where is your North Cape? What lies beyond the horizon? What is your next adventure?
